1. Performance description of ball mill liner castings and forgings
Using internationally recognized advanced mill liner simulation special software, optimize the structure and size of the liner.
The tube and end cover lining plate are made of wear-resisting chromium-molybdenum alloy steel and convex lining plate to improve service life and grinding effect.
The lining plate is secured with flat head bolts, complete with self-locking nut and sealing washer. The joint bolts have special sealing measures to prevent leakage.
The number of bolts to hold the lining plate is 5%.
Wear-resistant rubber filling strips are used at the joint of the end cover liner and barrel, which are fixed by the adjacent liner.
The rubber liner between the cylinder and the liner is 6mm thick to reduce noise.
The lining plate is installed on the inner wall of the ball mill barrel to protect the inner wall from wear and control the movement of the steel ball in the barrel. For this purpose, the lining plate must be wear-resistant, the surface geometry is suitable, and it is as easy as possible to manufacture, assemble and disassemble and maintain. Ball mill lining material can choose hard steel, high manganese steel, chromium steel, alloy cast steel, rubber and magnetic lining plate, etc.

3. Ball mill liner classification:
(1) High manganese steel lining plate (ZGMn13)
It has enough impact toughness, and the surface can be cold hardened and become hard and wear-resistant when subjected to a certain impact. Therefore, high manganese steel is widely used to make the lining board.
High manganese steel processing technical conditions are high, the price is also more expensive, for grinding based on fine grinding, the impact resistance of the lining plate is not high, can choose wear-resistant and cheaper other alloy cast iron. (Wear-resistant white iron, chilled cast iron, medium manganese rare earth nodular cast iron)
(2) Rubber liner
The wear resistance;
Because of the good elasticity of rubber, it can be deformed when bearing the impact of steel ball, so that the force is small. For soft materials, the life of rubber lining plate is 2-3 times higher than that of manganese steel lining plate, and the higher the hardness of the material, the superiority of rubber lining plate is more significant.
Corrosion resistance;
Steel liner can be corroded by acidic slurry, but rubber liner is not sensitive to acidic or alkaline medium, water, steam, etc., at a certain temperature, only oil and ozone (produced by high-power motors) corroded it.
Convenient assembly and disassembly;
The rubber lining plate is 1/5~1/6 of the weight of manganese steel lining plate of the same specification, so it is convenient to disassemble and assemble. The installation time of rubber lining plate only needs to install 1/3~1/4 of manganese steel lining plate.
The rubber liner is thinner and the effective volume of the cylinder increases. The thickness of the lining plate is usually only 50mm
The clogging phenomenon of rubber grid is less than that of steel grid
The rubber liner has less noise when working
Its disadvantage is: not high temperature resistance, not suitable for use in dry grinding machine.
(3) Magnetic lining plate
The general characteristics of magnetic lining plate are: in recent years, the development of magnetic lining plate is fast, the performance of continuous improvement, is steadily popularized and applied. Ball mill magnetic lining plate is made of rubber or steel wrapped permanent magnet material, so it is divided into metal magnetic lining plate and rubber magnetic lining plate, the former is more widely used at present. Due to a section of the ball mill to the ore size, impact, serious wear, so magnetic lining is generally only suitable for two sections of the ball mill.
Long life, 4~6 times of high manganese steel lining plate;
The maintenance cost of liner is low, which is 25%~40% of that of high manganese steel liner.
Single block small volume, easy installation, no maintenance, improve the mill operation rate of 3%~4%;
Light weight, reduce mill load, reduce power consumption by 4%~7%;
Thin thickness, can increase the volume of the mill, improve the capacity of the mill;
The crushing medium adsorbed on the surface of the lining plate can improve the grinding conditions and reduce the consumption of medium by 5%~7%.
