Wear-Resistant Alloy Ball Mill End Cover Hollow Shaft Integrated Casting
Product Introduction Of ZTIC Machine Parts
The end cover of the ball mill is an important component of the ball mill, located at both ends of the cylinder. Its main function is to support the materials, the cylinder and the medium, and to bear the force and moment generated during the operation of the ball mill. The design and manufacturing quality of the end cover directly affect the overall performance and stability of the ball mill.
The inlet and outlet end covers of the ball mill are one of the main components of the ball mill produced by our factory. The material of the end cover is ZG270-500.
The strength of the dangerous section of the ball mill end cover is the first issue to be considered in the design and selection of the end cover, because the rather heavy ball mill cylinder is supported by the end cover on the main bearing.
The end cover of a ball mill is generally slightly conical in shape. This design takes into account the configuration of the main bearing, the bending resistance of the journal, and to prevent the large gear from colliding with the foundation of the main bearing. The end covers of large and medium-sized ball mills are mostly made of cast steel, while those of small ball mills are made of ductile iron. To ensure the concentricity of the end cover's axis and the cylinder's axis, the end cover and the journal are usually cast as one. However, when the capacity of the smelting and casting equipment is insufficient, they can also be cast separately, processed and then fastened together, and finally undergo mechanical processing.
