High Temperature Refractory Bricks Clay / High Alumina Lining Bricks
Physical and Chemical Properties
1. Wear Resistance:
2. Thermal Conductivity: The rate of heat flow through a material per unit area under a unit temperature gradient, related to porosity.
3. Impact Resistance: Self-explanatory: Good impact resistance means a longer service life.
4. Slag Resistance: The ability to withstand the erosion of molten slag at high temperatures without damage.
Product Introduction
High-alumina refractory bricks are composed of corundum, mullite, and glass phases. The content of these phases depends on the Al₂O₃/SiO₂ ratio and the type and amount of impurities. Refractory bricks are graded based on Al₂O₃ content. The raw materials are natural high-alumina bauxite and sillimanite ores. Some bricks also contain fused corundum, sintered alumina, synthetic mullite, or clinker calcined with varying ratios of alumina and clay. They are primarily produced by the sintering process. However, other products include fused-cast bricks, fused-granular bricks, unfired bricks, and monolithic bricks. High-alumina refractory bricks are widely used in the steel, nonferrous metals, and other industries.
