Equipment Introduction: The steel slag vertical mill is a new type of dedicated production equipment for steel slag micro-powder, integrating crushing, conveying, grinding, and drying. With environmental protection and high efficiency as its core features, it is the preferred equipment for the comprehensive utilization of steel slag resources. The equipment boasts excellent grinding efficiency, with a system-wide power consumption of ≤50 kWh/t, and the finished steel slag powder can reach a specific surface area of 4500~5000 cm²/g. Its outstanding performance indicators make it suitable for industrial-scale production needs.
Working Principle: The material falls into the center of the grinding disc through the feeding pipe. The material, rotating at a constant speed with the grinding disc, is evenly dispersed and spread outwards by centrifugal force, forming a stable material bed. It is then crushed by multiple grinding rollers on the grinding disc. Driven by continuous centrifugal force, the material constantly moves towards the outer edge of the grinding disc. After leaving the grinding disc, it meets the hot airflow entering the mill through the air ring and rises with the airflow. During the ascent, sufficient heat exchange occurs, rapidly evaporating moisture. Subsequently, the material enters the separator in the middle shell of the mill with the hot airflow. The classifier precisely controls the fineness of the finished product. Coarse particles that do not meet the standard are separated and fall back onto the grinding disc for re-grinding, while the finished product meeting the fineness requirements is collected by the classifier, completing one grinding cycle.
