Briquetting Machines Enable Large Scale Continuous Production
I. Scope of Application
Briquetting machines are mainly used for briquetting and pelletizing various powdery materials. They are suitable for processing non-ferrous metal powders such as laterite nickel ore, quicklime powder, dolomite powder, magnesium oxide powder, copper concentrate, chromite powder, manganese ore powder, lead-zinc waste, and bauxite. They can also process various industrial powders such as refractory materials, ceramic materials, iron-containing powders from steel plants, converter sludge, iron oxide powder, and iron scale.
The core value of this equipment in briquetting operations lies in reducing material dust pollution, controlling bulk density, achieving waste recycling, and optimizing material transportation performance. It is widely used in core industrial fields such as coal, mining, metallurgy, refractory materials, chemicals, and building materials.
II. Working Principle and Structural Composition
(I) Core Structure The briquetting machine consists of modular components including a transmission system, main frame, reducer, belt conveyor, pre-compression device, roller sleeve ball groove alignment device, hydraulic system, and electrical control system. It has a compact structure and stable operation.
(II) Working Principle During operation, the material is quantitatively and uniformly fed into the pre-compression device to maintain a stable material level within the device. The pre-compression screw forcibly pushes the material to the arc-shaped grooves of the rollers, completing initial compression and precise feeding. The roller surfaces are evenly distributed with uniformly sized roller recesses, which rotate in opposite directions at the same speed through meshing transmission, biting the material into the roller recesses and subjecting it to high-pressure compression molding. The molded material rotates with the rollers and automatically demolds under its own elasticity and gravity. Driven continuously by a motor, the pressure rollers complete periodic molding operations, enabling large-scale, continuous production.
