Industrial coolers are key supporting equipment in high-temperature production lines in building materials, metallurgy, and chemical industries. They are primarily used for the rapid cooling and waste heat recovery of high-temperature clinker, lime, and other materials produced by rotary kilns and other equipment, improving system thermal efficiency and stabilizing product quality. Main types include: single-cylinder coolers, double-cylinder coolers, grate coolers, clinker coolers, and vertical lime coolers.
I. Single-Cylinder Cooler The single-cylinder cooler is mainly used to cool the high-temperature clinker discharged from the rotary kiln. While cooling, it can efficiently recover a large amount of waste heat carried by the material, preheating the combustion air to a high temperature before sending it into the kiln, enhancing the calcination effect and reducing system heat consumption. It is a core supporting equipment for rotary kiln systems.
II. Clinker Cooler The clinker cooler is an indispensable key equipment in cement rotary kiln production lines. Its cooling efficiency directly determines the operating efficiency of the entire rotary kiln system, making it an essential supporting equipment for achieving high-efficiency cement clinker production.
III. Grate Cooler The grate cooler uses pressurized cooling air perpendicular to the material's movement on the grate to force rapid cooling of the moving clinker, achieving fast and uniform cooling of high-temperature materials.
IV. Vertical Lime Cooler The vertical cooler is one of the main pieces of equipment in an active lime production line. Active lime calcined in the rotary kiln enters a square-section cooler lined with refractory material. The material evenly covers the central and compartment cooling caps, forming a layer. An external fan delivers cooling air through the air chambers and caps, ensuring thorough heat exchange with the high-temperature material. The cooled material is continuously discharged by a bottom-mounted vibrating discharger, while the heated air is returned to the rotary kiln as secondary air for combustion, achieving efficient utilization of waste heat.
