Jaw crushers are key players in the mining and building materials industries. Ensuring their stable and efficient operation requires meticulous attention to every step, from installation to routine maintenance.
During installation, it needs to be placed on a solid concrete foundation, with hardwood pads or rubber strips placed underneath to reduce the impact of vibration and noise on the surrounding environment. The discharge chute of the foundation should be lined with metal plates, with an inclination angle of no less than 50° to ensure smooth discharge of crushed stone.
Before startup, a no-load test run must be completed: continuous operation for 2 hours. The bearing temperature rise should not exceed 30°C, and all components should be free of looseness and abnormal noise. During production, feed material evenly to avoid overloading on one side. If the bearing temperature exceeds 70°C, the machine must be stopped immediately for inspection.
Routine maintenance is equally crucial. Regularly apply grease to the friction surfaces, and change the lubricating oil in the bearings every 3 to 6 months. Worn liners can be rotated for reuse, and fastening bolts should be checked regularly to prevent loosening. Only by managing the entire process can this "big guy" output output stably and sustainably, laying a solid foundation for stone crushing production.
