Reliable Operation Stepless Speed Regulation GPY Series Disc Filter
The GPY series disc filter is primarily designed for solid-liquid separation of fine materials (0-0.5mm). It can be used for dewatering flotation clean coal and tailings, and can also be applied in metallurgy, chemical industry, petroleum, and wastewater treatment.
Working Principle
A pressure difference is created using a vacuum pump, causing the material to form a filter cake on the filter cloth, separating the liquid phase. After dewatering in the drying zone, the filter cake enters the blow-off zone where compressed air blows off a portion of the cake, and the remaining cake is scraped off by a scraper, completing one cycle.
Core Features
The transmission device is compact and reliable, supporting stepless speed regulation, and equipped with a torque-limiting coupling for overload protection.
The central shaft is a welded structure, lightweight, rigid, and with a large filtrate discharge capacity. The shaft bushing is made of SP composite material, which is wear-resistant and durable.
Equipped with star-shaped plastic sector plates and stainless steel wire woven filter cloth, it achieves excellent dewatering and cake removal effects, resulting in a low filter cake moisture content.
It uses a combination of air blowing and suspended scraper unloading, achieving a cake removal rate of over 90%, ensuring uniform stress on the filter discs and low operating load. The GPY20-120 series is compatible with the foundation and discharge port sizes of PG products, making it easy to upgrade existing plants.
