Luoyang Zhongtai Industries Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 1981 and finished joint stock reform in 2005. There are eight subsidiaries and it's an independent legal entity with the qualifications of operating import & export trade.

After more than 30 years development, the company has developed into a collectivized one with product designing, manufacture, installation and technical services as a whole. ZTIC’s technology center, Luoyang Mining Machinery Engineering Design Institute (LMMEDI), is the largest organization for comprehensive technology development and research in mining, metallurgy and building materials in China. LMMEDI employs approximately 700 staff of which 400 are engineers (with approximately 30 masters and doctors) involved in research and development of machinery design, manufacturing, automation, hydraulics, construction, cement, active lime, pellets plants, plant design, water supply and drainage, heating and ventilation, electrical supply and testing technology.
